Corporate relocation · Omaha

Relocating to Omaha for Gallup.

Gallup Riverfront Campus

The Gallup campus sits on the river, which is one of the more pleasant places to work in the city and puts the whole riverfront redevelopment on your doorstep. Housing choice runs from downtown lofts to established midtown streets without a difficult drive in either case.

Where people live

On the Missouri, minutes from downtown and the pedestrian bridge.

Old Market & North Downtown
Closest to campus, walkable, and where the newer urban inventory is.
Blackstone
Ten minutes out, rapidly improving, and still the best value close in.
Dundee & Memorial Park
Established, tree-lined and family-oriented, fifteen minutes from the river.
Council Bluffs
Directly across the bridge, frequently cheaper, and a genuinely short commute.

How a relocation actually goes

  1. 01

    Before you accept

A call, and if it helps, a tour. Bill has driven corporate and medical candidates around this city for forty years — often before they had taken the job. Knowing what your package actually buys changes the negotiation.

  2. 02

    One trip, properly used

Neighborhoods, schools and the commute driven at the hour you will actually drive it. Most relocations get one visit; it should not be spent guessing.

  3. 03

    Buying from out of state

Video walkthroughs, a representative in the room, and someone who will tell you when a house is wrong for you. Bill reads construction — he estimated materials before he sold houses.

  4. 04

    Selling where you are now

We coordinate with your agent at the other end so the two closings do not fight each other. That is most of what goes wrong in a relocation.

Bill holds the Certified Relocation Professional designation and has worked with corporate recruiters bringing candidates to Omaha for four decades. If you are a recruiter rather than the candidate, send them this page — or call and he will take the tour himself.
