NP Dodge Real Estate · Omaha

Forty years in one market.

Bill Black has been licensed in Omaha since 1984. In that time the metro has pushed west past 204th, absorbed Elkhorn, filled in Sarpy County and rebuilt its riverfront twice. He has sold through all of it, which is a different kind of knowledge from having read about it.

A dollar down

He bought his first house without an agent.

In 1983 Bill bought his first house for a dollar down. For sale by owner — no agent, no middleman. A year later he had his license, and he has spent the four decades since on the other side of that table, making sure the people he represents get the deal he had to find on his own.

He once moved a two-story house out of 156th & Dodge to the Elkhorn area. Lots of hoops to jump through. He and his family still live in it.

Authentic. Experienced. Established.

Before the license
Estimated materials at Millard Lumber through college — learned to read a set of plans before he ever read a purchase agreement.
Builder representation
Has represented several Omaha builders since, on the strength of knowing how the house goes together.
Relocation
Personally tours corporate and medical recruits through Omaha before they have accepted the job.

The brokerage behind the team

The team operates under NP Dodge Real Estate, founded in 1855 and, in the firm’s own words, “America's longest running, family-owned, full-service real estate firm”. That is not marketing on our part — it is the reason a client’s file does not disappear when a franchise changes hands, and it is worth understanding when you are choosing who to list with.

The people

8 agents, each with a direct line published on their own page. No contact form that routes to a queue, and no lead-routing round robin.
